4th July: Northam Burrows

Our in-house bird expert, Colin Humphries, will be leading us in some bird photography. In particular we'll be aiming to get some great images of birds in flight. Northam Burrows attracts many species of birds, especially greedy seagulls who are happy to pose in return for some airborne artisan bread! There's also a wonderful array of flora and fauna, so a great spot for nature and wildlife photography.

Meet from 6:30pm. Parking is available along the skerne (Burrows Lane). The evening rate (from 4pm) is £2. Day rate is £5.

11th July: Broomhill Sculpture Park

Broomhill have recently installed additional sculptures so there will be new subjects to photograph. The hotel is closed that evening but they are allowing us access to the park. There is a charge of £5 per person.

Meet in the car park at 6:30pm or we'll see you in the park. Entry is at the top opposite the hotel entrance.

18th July: Barnstaple Boxing Club

A chance to get some action shots. Capture the boxers training in the ring and with various bits of equipment around the gym. You can find some tips for boxing action shots here: www.expertphotography.com/boxing-pictures

Parking along Rolle Quay. Meet outside the club at 6:30pm.

25th July: Wistland Pound

This is a fabulous spot for landscapes and nature photography. You can indulge in photographing water, woodland, and wildlife.

The postcode for the carpark is EX31 4SN. When you first drive in there is an area that is free to park. If it is full, continue through to the pay and display. £2 for 2 hours or £3 all day until midnight.
